The Napa Valley is one the most known and popular Wine Regions in the world. Home to top vintners, Napa offers much to the local and tourist traveler that is looking for good wine and fine food. However, there is so much more! Go Olive Oil tasting, see world class races, or visit natural hot springs. Napa even has a beautiful recreational lake where you can rent a houseboat or watercraft!

Sonoma offers great wines and culinary delights, and is definitely up to par with Napa Valley, just not as known. Besides the wines, there is plenty to do of interest. Take the family to "Train Town" or drive along Sonoma's magnificent Pacific Coastline on Hwy1.
Wine Tasting: Not as well known as Napa Valley, but certainly just as good! Numerous wineries and Napa vineyards grow grapes here.

Petrified Forests: A short trail of petrified redwood trees from a volcanic eruption of Mt. St. Helena three million years ago. Most of the trees were over 2,000 years old when covered by the ash, and are now petrified. Worth a stopping by if on a road trip. California Landmark #915.
