Environment Marin

Marin County is home to some of Northern California's most incredible habitats which are managed and protected to enhance their natural, undeveloped character while accommodating educational activities and trail-oriented uses. Some of Marin's most exhilarating outdoor destinations include Muir Woods National Monument and Point Reyes National Seashore, Mt. Tamalpais State Park and Angel Island State Park, as well as Golden Gate National Recreation Area, which in itself includes Marin Headlands, Muir Beach and Stinson Beach.
